Setup guide
From an empty server to a fully configured bot. Each step takes a minute or two.
Sign in and pick your server
Press Sign in with Discord, then choose a server. Only servers where you have the Manage Server permission appear in the list.
Check the bot's role
In Discord, drag HsfCore's role above any role it has to give out, and make sure it can manage roles, channels and messages in the channels you want it to work in.
Set the basics
On the General page pick your prefix, embed colour and staff roles. On Moderation choose a mod-log channel so every action is recorded.
Turn on automod and channel rules
Automod handles spam, invites, links, banned words and caps. Channel rules keep a media channel media-only and a chat channel chat-only — switch Dry run on first to watch what it would remove before it removes anything.
Welcome your members
On Greetings enable the welcome message, choose a channel and write your text. Use {user}, {username}, {server} and {count} to personalise it, and add auto roles if new members should get a role on join.
Build and send a panel
Open Self roles, Ticket panels or Polls, build the message, pick a channel and press Send to Discord. Set Layout to Card with Image position above the message for the banner and big heading in a single message. Come back later, edit it and press Update posted message to change what is already live.
Make the wording yours
Buttons & wording controls every label, emoji, colour and reply the bot uses, so nothing has to sound generic.
Placeholders you can use
{user} mentions the member, {username} is their name, {server} is the server name, {count} is the member count, {channel} is the channel and {level} is the new level in level-up messages. Custom emojis work anywhere as :emoji_name:.
